I was told to go with high temp powder coat or ceramic coated headers, will the aerospace coated headers be better? Worse? Same? If prices are high for a custom exhaust should I rethink buying one? If so which prefab should I go with??

I have a set of ceramic coated MSA headers. There real nice. One of the best headers I have seen. With the 3-2-1 set up you can do real dual exhaust. The 6-1 headers you would have to run a 1-2 y pipe. or just a single back. I want the duals all the back but I do everything the hard way. If your going with a stock motor then think about a stock system.

I was thinking about running 2 too, did you get it custom made? if so how long ago was it and how much was the price?

Does running two sperate pipes make it quieter too? I'd prefer it not be too loud.

With the 3-2 to a twice pipes does it go down to one and then back to two?

You said twice pipes doesnt fit right is it possible to have them fitted at a custom shop?

Here's what $1,000+ gets you:

It's all in the muffles you use. The set up from MSA has a Y pipe that splits it into two pipes all the way back and dumps intp two glass packs. You can see to two glass packs in the photo under the car. The MSA twice pipes are loud. The megaphone set up was built by a company a long time ago and you will have to wait a long time to find one one these. If your going with headers then the single MSA set up is better as far as what your looking for. For me, I'm going to custom build the whole system myself. I want it right and I want it to show that some real work has gone into it.
