Posted September 9, 200618 yr comment_181780 How do you do it??? Manual I have says to adjust idle air screw but I can't find anything on the engine that looks like the picture. Saw a post about changing the AFM around but couldn't seem to relocate that. September 10, 200618 yr comment_181838 there is a stopper screw on the passenger side of the throttle body. It threads up from underneath and is what controls how far the throttle sits open at idle. It's very small and should be a phillips head. To find it just look where the throttle linkage is stopped from rotating (in the closed position) on the throttle body. There is not a manual idle adjuster like on the non turbo models. September 13, 200618 yr comment_182197 Jfairlady is correct with the exception of a few things. It is a flat head screwdriver you will need, as well as a 8mm socket or wrench to loosen the lock nut.Is there a reason why your car isnt idling properly as the ZX has a device which basically doesn one thing, keeps the idle at 750 rpms. Make sure you do not have any vacumn leaks. You might also want to check your timing and your pcv. I've only actually had to deal with it one time and that was when I initially set my turbo motor.
