September 12, 200618 yr comment_182027 Depends on how long it's been on there, but I've had some success with WD-40 of all things.FWIW,Nate Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21532-tree-sap-removal/#findComment-182027 Share on other sites
September 12, 200618 yr comment_182028 What type of paint is it? Does it have a clear coat?I'd suggest 2000 grit wet/dry paper with plenty of water. If that doesn't work then the paint is already damaged by whatever you're trying to remove. September 12, 200618 yr comment_182041 Try some detailing clay and soapy water. It's available at most parts stores and auto paint stores.Good luck with your car. October 20, 200618 yr comment_186404 What we use at work to remove tree sap, minimal water spot is just a high pressure washer with 280 degrees heat to remove it. But move in a fast pace especially if your paint is old. That should take care of the problem cause that is what I do everyday.
