September 13, 200618 yr Author comment_182216 i think the car looks great. if i were to make one minor change though, it would be to black out the chrome around the signals on the side. like i said, minor, but continuing a theme.nice work.oh man, I didn't even notice that.. thanks for pointing that out.. I'll fix that this weekend.. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21533-finally-some-decent-pics-of-the-z/?&page=2#findComment-182216 Share on other sites
September 13, 200618 yr comment_182288 I would do the bumpers too. Satin black on the bumpers would make it really stand out. Could you coat the bumpers with a rubber-type material? September 13, 200618 yr comment_182290 I agree on the bumpers. Black would go really nice with the grill, emblems and wheels.zak Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21533-finally-some-decent-pics-of-the-z/?&page=2#findComment-182290 Share on other sites
September 13, 200618 yr comment_182294 What paint did you use to black out all your crome? I plan on doing the same to my Z. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21533-finally-some-decent-pics-of-the-z/?&page=2#findComment-182294 Share on other sites

September 14, 200618 yr comment_182328 NightowlZ, I was just going to the end of the thread to post the same thing. I am mostly partial to the look of a stock Z, but that is a nice body kit-a litlle more subtle than some of the others I've seen, and I like that the rear wheel wells haven't needed to be flared out. Very nice job, Dreco! And I like the same-colour bumpers, too.-Mikey Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21533-finally-some-decent-pics-of-the-z/?&page=2#findComment-182328 Share on other sites

September 20, 200618 yr comment_183144 wow..looks way better. Must be the light, but the blue looks less 'purpley' now. Those fisheye-lens pics look great!! Nice work.Zak Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21533-finally-some-decent-pics-of-the-z/?&page=2#findComment-183144 Share on other sites
September 20, 200618 yr comment_183145 What would you think about using the tinted sugar scoop covers? The clear ones look nice and all-the headlights are almost like diamonds sparkling in the sun, but it doesn't fit with the theme (in my eyes). Or maybe some tasteful driving/fog lamps in the airdam would add balance to the clear headlights.Either way, the car is Beautiful as is, and any suggestion given shoud be tempered with the fact that we are looking at a photo, not the real deal.
