Darrel Posted September 14, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2006 I drove by this a few months ago while working on a house. I just saw it by the side of a house. Now they have it for sale. At least it looks like it's the same one. It's near Kipling and Ken Caryl.http://denver.craigslist.org/car/207048715.html
Montezuma Posted September 14, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 14, 2006 I know some one who might be interested. What do you think of the car?
Darrel Posted September 14, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted September 14, 2006 I have only seen it from the street as I drove by. It had a green tarp on it. From the pics it looks good if that is the original paint and not a respray.Lonetree steve is closer to it than I am. Maybe he can check it out if he gets a chance. 240ZX Posted September 14, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 14, 2006 Might make a great project car! But as we all know too well, and especially a Z from Colorado left in the weather, the rust monster is going to be present.....the question is, just how exstensive is it? Hard to tell without an in person inspection. The good news....its a 1970 or at least an early 1971.Tom
=Enigma= Posted September 14, 2006 Share #7 Posted September 14, 2006 Hey I was jsut in that general area today. Funny to see the street name now as I'm sitting in the Denver airport bored out of my mind waiting for yet another late departure from Denver........at least they're consistent here. =Enigma= Posted September 15, 2006 Share #9 Posted September 15, 2006 If I had had any spare time I would have loved to hook up with some of you and had a beer or something. Maybe next time I'll plan for an extra day or a stay through Saturday.
wfl_colorado Posted September 16, 2006 Share #10 Posted September 16, 2006 So I emailed the owner and she said it had NOT been repainted and has been parked for about 2yrs w/ a several new items. Fuel pump, distributor, wires, plugs, points, etc.Would like to go look, but have too many projects as it is and don't want to be tempted...Bill
Darrel Posted September 16, 2006 Author Share #11 Posted September 16, 2006 Maybe not when she has owned it, but from the pics I still can't make out the side marker lights or cut outs.In case you do decide to check it out, it's under the green tarp in this pic.http://www.google.com/maphp?hl=en&q=&ie=UTF8&z=19&ll=39.588586,-105.107966&spn=0.00094,0.001808&t=h&om=
