it had some dealer installed 5 slots with a press in cap with the letters P/S on them. I later found out that they were marketed by a company in Arcadia, Ca. called Performance Specialties.

When I sold wheels back in the day, you could easily get either width in many brands. (Some brands were 5.5" instead of 6".) Neither are especially rare, but 6" are a bit more common.

Anyone have any info on the 6-slot mags with the screw holes for the center cap?

Unlike the five-slots which were made by every US wheel company and their dog as well, I'm pretty sure that only one company made the six-slots, and there may have only been one size for the Z. But while I'm pretty certain I've heard who made those, the name escapes me at present.

Dragmaster comes to mind. I know that they made six-slots, I had them on my Chevelle, but I didn't think they made any in four bolt.

I've seen a few old four-lug six-slots, not sure if they were Dragmaster or not. Didn't Victor Laury have a set?

Arne , do you remember my Mags ? If you have a anniversary gold edition of the Motorsport catalog showing a yellow 240 with the same wheels I have . These are the only other set I have seen , that have the '' spokes '' going all the way to the center of the hub. Who made them ? Gary

Yeah, I remember yours, and I do recall that there were a few companies that made those wheels (generally called "turbines" by those of us in the wheel business in those days) without the flat area around the hub. Can't come up with a name right now, but if I think of it later I'll let you know. I know that they WEREN'T Westerns...

Here's my set of Six hole wheels. I was told that they were pacer sport by Les Cannady, but they have no brand info, just the ANSI certification in the casting.

BTW, the center caps were fitted by me several years ago. At the time, I thought the "P/S" Stood for Pacer Sports. But Steve just gave me the real source in a post above

Does anyone know where I can find a set of the screw on center caps? A friend is looking for a set of them!
