That's actually what I was looking for when I came across this one. A couple months ago I got a couple of the blueish ones last posted by Stephen.

Hot Wheels has already released some of the 2009 models, so start looking!!

So I found the 510!

It might be a bit of an obsession, but the way I look at it is this:

I found one at a WallyWorld. One isn't enough-got to have one in the blister pack, one to play with.

So then I found two more at Target. Well, that's fine, but what if I want to give some away as gifts?

So then I go to Kmart. No luck. Off to another Target, and that was the jackpot-11 of them. Might as well buy them all...

So Brian (bre-240z), don't bother going to the Target that's near Circuit City. They don't have any more...

And it's 37 of 42, by the way-makes it much easier looking for them.

While it's not a Hot Wheels, I found a die cast 1:24 scale 1972 Datsun 240Z while looking for a xmas pressy for my grandson.

Painted a nice, bright orange with wheel arch flares painted black, chromed engine, hood, doors and hatch open. Detail is passable but what more can you expect for $24.65 in Oz play dough. It's by JADA Toys.

I just picked up three of the Hot Wheels 'Datsun Bluebird 510' at the local Target store. They must have has 15-20 of them so they're out and around now.

In a box somewhere I have a bunch of older issue Z cars. I even have one that is made in Poland and supposedly rare. Misspent money I think. No fun if you don't display them and I don't. I will take some pics of them soon...

Well I didn't find 14, but I did find one in the checkout line this morning and just had to get it! Still keeping my eye out for a Z.

Found several of the Black 510's and just today the GTR

I've seen several collections from hot wheels that are make/model specific. I wonder if, now that they've released a good number of Nissan/Datsun vehicles, if they will release a set for us...

I bought the black 510 but passed on the GTR. Most all of my die cast and other models/toys are 'classics'. GTR's, 350/370Z's, etc., or any Ghosn era Nissan just don't fall in that catagory for me. There's 6 240Zs, 3 510s, a Cedric station wagon, a 1936 Phaeton, a Z32, a Z31, a 280ZX, a 280Z, a Mid-4, an L320 pickup (in the case), a Fairlady 1200 (on the case). Also in there is an old Zippo Datsun lighter from when I used to smoke. And a Jada 240Z and 510.
