I got a yellow one, custom mixes model paints to make a fairly close match to my custom paint job on my 280Z and painted up the hotwheels and mounted it on my dashboard, will post a pic when its light out to get a good snapshot

The stores are filled with them now. ToysRUs and Walmart have lots of them, but only the white with stripes. I got 2 for my son's stocking-stuffer. Gregg thanks for offering to pick some up for me.

So to recap, I have a red one (which matches my car, very cool!); a7dz has an orange one (hey! that matches his car too); beandip has a yellow one (and what color is his car, do you suppose?)...

The rest is left as an exercise for the student.

Rick (and Aussies), while shopping at Woolworths I came across a big bin full of these matchbox cars - I only glanced but there sitting at the top gleaming in the fluorescent store lighting was one beautiful pearl white 240Z!! Digging down deeper I found quite a few. I bought two with the intention of painting one. Best thing was the price - $2 each!

Now, it is time to search again!

I found the yellow one at a local Fred Meyer a couple months ago. I bought all of them... 7

I only opened one to give to my daughter to play with... and I drive it on ocasion too. I've never seen any since then or seen any other colors other than the Yellow with stripes that I have.

I know that I am late into the thread, but there was a special version at K-Mart as well. It is similar to the white and yellow witht he stripes, but the car itself is gray.
