I'm trying to do a value adjustment on a 75 280z and unable to loosen the pivot locking nut on the value adjusters.

Is there a special tool for this or some trick trick I'm missing.

using a wrench on both nuts at the same time has always worked for me, sometimes the really tight ones took a tap or two with a hammer.
