Posted October 4, 200618 yr comment_184620 I am looking at getting a set of 15 x 7 Silver Panasports for my son's '78 280Z. If I do this I'll be selling the OEM Factory Alloy 14 X 6 wheels & tires. I bought these off ebay and put a new set of 195/70HR-14 Sumitomo HTR 200's on them 02/05/2004. Two of the rims are slightly bent but balance out OK. I have driven on them and they drive well. They could be easily refinished to like new condition but I am thinking I'd rather put new Panas on the car. Just wondering what the value of the wheels/tires would be and if anyone is looking for a set of these rims. Asking $375 plus shipping. PM or email me if you are interested. Here is a pic of one of the rims & tires before we painted the car. After paint. (Silver)webdawg1205/60 R15 either the Yoko Avid H4 or the Falken Ziex ZE-512. Les at Classic Datsun has the best price so far on the rims. October 4, 200618 yr comment_184635 Yeah, I'm looking at the yoko Avid H4's as well....Last I saw a set of four panasport rims was in the $1100-$1200 range. Can they do any better than that? If so, I'll be all over it....like white on rice... webdawg1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21803-280z-factory-alloy-wheels-valuefeeler/#findComment-184635 Share on other sites

October 4, 200618 yr comment_184641 That is pretty good... I'll have to get with him here in the next day or so. What offset you going with?? Bone stock...as far as the car goes, so nothing special...etc...etc. Most of what I've seen so far in the forums (Bone stock suspension) is usually somewhere in the 0 - +15 mm range (or larger) depending on what has been done to the suspension.webdawg1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21803-280z-factory-alloy-wheels-valuefeeler/#findComment-184641 Share on other sites

October 4, 200618 yr comment_184660 Mark,I would recommend the P225/50/15 for a tire size and this would look great with a set of Tokico 1" lowering springs. To compare tire sizes this calculator is helpful:http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21803-280z-factory-alloy-wheels-valuefeeler/#findComment-184660 Share on other sites
October 4, 200618 yr Author comment_184662 Right now the 280Z isn't lowered. Still not decided on whether to pop for the Panasports or get Fast Forward rims and tires for less than the cost of the Panasport rims themselves. The only issue with the Fast Forward rims is the center cap fit. Supposedly a little adjustment to the dust cover and it will work. October 4, 200618 yr comment_184664 Mark,In that case you might want to look at a p215/60/15 tire size as it will 'fill up' the wheel well a bit more. October 4, 200618 yr comment_184665 Or..the Konig Rewind wheels seem to look just fine and might be a bit easier on the wallet? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21803-280z-factory-alloy-wheels-valuefeeler/#findComment-184665 Share on other sites
October 4, 200618 yr comment_184683 With the panasports they send you the center caps/correct lugnuts as part of the deal if I remember correctly....webdawg1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21803-280z-factory-alloy-wheels-valuefeeler/#findComment-184683 Share on other sites
