280Z Factory Alloy Wheels Value/Feeler

I am looking at getting a set of 15 x 7 Silver Panasports for my son's '78 280Z. If I do this I'll be selling the OEM Factory Alloy 14 X 6 wheels & tires. I bought these off ebay and put a new set of 195/70HR-14 Sumitomo HTR 200's on them 02/05/2004. Two of the rims are slightly bent but balance out OK. I have driven on them and they drive well. They could be easily refinished to like new condition but I am thinking I'd rather put new Panas on the car. Just wondering what the value of the wheels/tires would be and if anyone is looking for a set of these rims. Asking $375 plus shipping. PM or email me if you are interested.

Here is a pic of one of the rims & tires before we painted the car.

Jmark,

What size tires you thinking about putting on the 15 X 7 panasports?? I'm looking at getting the 15 X 7 panasports as well. (Silver)

205/60 R15 either the Yoko Avid H4 or the Falken Ziex ZE-512. Les at Classic Datsun has the best price so far on the rims.

Yeah, I'm looking at the yoko Avid H4's as well....Last I saw a set of four panasport rims was in the $1100-$1200 range. Can they do any better than that? If so, I'll be all over it....like white on rice...LOL

Les quoted me $1035 shipped to S.C. Email him at les@classicdatsun.com. Great to deal with IMHO.

That is pretty good... I'll have to get with him here in the next day or so. What offset you going with?? Bone stock...as far as the car goes, so nothing special...etc...etc. Most of what I've seen so far in the forums (Bone stock suspension) is usually somewhere in the 0 - +15 mm range (or larger) depending on what has been done to the suspension.

Right now the 280Z isn't lowered. Still not decided on whether to pop for the Panasports or get Fast Forward rims and tires for less than the cost of the Panasport rims themselves. The only issue with the Fast Forward rims is the center cap fit. Supposedly a little adjustment to the dust cover and it will work.
