September 28, 200618 yr comment_184062 Cool site, found two in one shot- converted 240 in the foreground, and I'm pretty sure that's a 280 zx in the upper left corner (look at the front bumper and the 3/4) http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_45803-Datsun-240Z-Convertible.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2182-240z-in-movies/?&page=14#findComment-184062 Share on other sites
December 12, 200618 yr comment_192356 I was thumbing thru the channels the other day. On ESPN Classic, a movie called "One on One" with non other than Robbie Benson (remember him). He was a midwest high school basketball player recruited by a Los Angeles college basketball team. Recruiter promises him whatever car he wanted. Next scene shows him pulling out of his driveway in a red 280Z. The scenes of him driving to LA must have lasted at least a couple of minutes. Pretty awesome. December 12, 200618 yr comment_192409 All the President's Men had several, though I think they were the same, just filmed from different angles, mostly overhead shots down into a parking lot, or head angle shots for city driving-one each-green, red, brown (or blue).Commando-several of differing years (i.e. 240-260-280z, 280zx, plus some other nice cars) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2182-240z-in-movies/?&page=14#findComment-192409 Share on other sites
March 3, 200718 yr comment_201201 In the new movie remake of The Italian Job staring Mark Walhberg and Hot Chic Charlize Theron :classic: Through out the whole movie there are classic Datsun 240Z's and Mazda RX-7's all over the place. Other Old school imports too! Rented the DVD and I didn't notice at first untill after I watched it the 2nd time around when a sceen showing the outside of a crooked guys pawn shop had a white 240 roll right in front of the camera. I rewinded and sho nuff it was a Z! So I kept watching the flick and noticed many more Z's and 1st gen RX-7's making appearences. At the end of the flick during a traffic jam sequence it shows a sky shot of an intersection where pretty much every car that was either in the background or parked some where making one last Grande Finale! Also if you look closer during the whole movie you'll see some new school rides too It's an awesome flick that was really made by some car guys like us who paid extra special attention to details like that. And like I said theres a HOT CHIC TOO ~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2182-240z-in-movies/?&page=14#findComment-201201 Share on other sites

June 8, 200717 yr comment_211657 Didn't re-read this whole thread to see if anyone mentioned it (did a search though), but there was a gold 280ZX in 'The Office' tonight. It looked in good shape. Parked next to Pam's car if your familiar with the show.
