I've got 225/50/15 Yokohama ES100s on my 15x7 Panasports. No rubbing issues...Robert

Which car are we talking about here and is it stock height or lowered. (Nevermind, I found it in your gallery)

I just grabbed some 15x7 Rewinds and was considering the same tires. I have a 1973 that will be lowered 1" using the Tokico red springs.

Adam,

The 225/50/15 that Robert is using will look very nice on those Panasports and help to fill out the wheelwells as well. On "240ztt's" 240Z after he had the coil overs installed by 'Dtsnlvrs' we installed the 16x7 and 16x8 Epsilons and those 245/45/16's in the rear fit just fine and the 225/50/16's in the front did nicely as well, although they wouldn't work on a non-coil over equipped car.

I've got a set of Konig 15x7's and am contemplating which brand of tire to go with. Trying to sort what's best for me out of all of the advertising seems almost impossible and in the end I guess I'll just have to take the plunge but let us know what you choose in the tire realm and how you like your choice.

I am running 195/65/15's on my 15 X 7" rims on the car now (as of Wedensday). Those give you the same diameter as the stock tire (25"), and they don't rub on the front or back, even if they tuck into the rear fenderwell. I also like the look as they give you more sidewall with the 15" rims, making them look more proportional.

I'll try to get some pics of these new tires posted over the weekend!

just personal preference I wanted a little wider in the back just for looks if nothing else. it does look nice with a fatter tire in the back. The car handles really good compared to the previous set up witch was 195/60/14 all the way around. I know some people will say it might hurt the handling but in my case it was a huge improvement. very happy with my set up

Arne,

My old tires (seen in my gallery) were 195/60/15, the new ones (seen below) are 195/65/15. Due to the age and treadware of the old tires, the diameter increased about .6/.7 inches or so. The tires seem to fit fine on the rims, here are a few photos (hopefully the side shot shows what you were after):
