Posted October 6, 200618 yr comment_184918 I was looking for a fuel pump in the Summer 2006 edition of the Black Dragon (Victoria British?) Z catalog. The catalog indicates that the '70 240Z has two fuel pumps, an electric by the gas tank and a mechanical in the engine compartment. I'm pretty dang sure this isn't correct. Is it? :stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21829-two-240z-fuel-pumps-catalog-wrong/ Share on other sites
October 6, 200618 yr comment_184921 No. While the wiring for an electric pump is in the harness, US spec cars didn't get the second pump until '73. October 6, 200618 yr comment_184936 In addition to that, I belive the early 73's only received the elec pump as one part of the multipart dealer fix for the vapor lock issues seen with the flat top carbs. I can tell you that mine has the elec pump but it looks like it was added on later. October 6, 200618 yr comment_184949 Bonzi (7-73) does NOT have and electric fuel pump, however has the pig-tails neatly wrapped to put one in.
