Posted October 11, 200618 yr comment_185430 On October 1st the first Japanese Classic Car Show was held in North Brisbane, Queensland. It was a great turnout for the first event, especially since the organisers only really began a couple of months ago. Here are my pictures for the day.http://storm.elxx.net/alfadog/qldjcs/index.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21883-japanese-classic-car-show-photos-qld-australia/ Share on other sites

You've outdone yourself McCombeOh that blue Isuzu Bellet is to die for..The C110 with the VG30DET - Yeehaa!Alan Bent's 320 flatbed pickup looks better in your photos than the old one he had on his site. Was the Sore Blue 1500 roadster the one he built for his new Girl Friend?most of the conventional engined Mazdas I have never seen before and the little one with the rear engine (bigger than the 360) is also a new sight for me Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/21883-japanese-classic-car-show-photos-qld-australia/#findComment-185486 Share on other sites
October 11, 200618 yr comment_185488 Thanks for the photos, Lachlan. If only Toyota had sold the Century here-subtly stylish. Too many beautiful cars were (are) available outside the US (dam epa/crash standards), it's nice to be able to at least see some nice shots. October 11, 200618 yr Author comment_185524 Hi David - no worries - I believe the Century was only sold in Japan. There are a few getting around here now though as grey imports. Amazing car. Really really cool.Victor, I'm glad you like them. I don't know about the blue Roadster... but gee there were a lot of Roadsters in attendance!!! For Australia, anyway. The Mazda Carol has been maticulously restored and is a true classic - the Japanese love them apparently.
