October 14, 200618 yr comment_185789 The interface of the shift lever with the transmission is very different between the early type "A" transmissions and the later type "B". See the following artivle for more info:http://zhome.com/ZCMnL/tech/AandBtranny.htmI have seen both types of bushings for sale on ebay recently.
