Posted November 1, 200618 yr comment_187940 I just looked in to my tool compartment for the first time last night. To my amazement, the tool bag was still in a sealed clear plastic bag. Also contained in the bag was a list from Nissan detailing the contents. I scanned the bag with the plastic on it so the attached file is not entirely clear, but you all will be able to see what was listed on it. There also appears to be, for lack of a better word, a chop on the lower right hand corner. The paper measures 7" by 5". I haven't decieded whether or not I will break the bag open in order to make a pristine copy for anybody that wants one.I don't know if this subject has been addressed previously, but if so, sorry for the duplicate posting.Tool Bag list.pdf Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22137-oem-tool-bag/ Share on other sites
November 1, 200618 yr comment_187945 Nice find! Thats a great feeling coming across stuff that alot of people just threw out, or has disentigrated over time. I dont blame you for not wanting to open the bag, but if you do open it and make copies...count me in!Zak Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22137-oem-tool-bag/#findComment-187945 Share on other sites

Air----currently sealed for 30 odd years---kept inside a Z----I'd save it for my last breath!! Jim D. November 1, 200618 yr comment_187963 Here's a couple pics of the only one I've ever found and that's after searching thru hundreds of Z's for more than 15 years. You'll notice it has a Japanese date stamp. This one, "49.7.10", is July 10, 1974. November 1, 200618 yr Author comment_187965 Moonpup, so that is what the "chop" is for. The date stamp on mine is nearly invisible, but still has the letters like yours on the bottom "EP". November 6, 200618 yr comment_188492 Rocky had some bigger brothers?(Long Pause)...Oh. I get it now... I just cut up a piece of 4x4 lumber to make some chocks, and drilled a hole through it so I could tie in a loop of rope for extraction ( or carrying, use as bolos, etc.) :rambo: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22137-oem-tool-bag/#findComment-188492 Share on other sites
November 6, 200618 yr comment_188495 OPB: TomoHawkI just cut up a piece of 4x4 lumber to make some chocks.....snip Do you keep these in your Z for use in emergencies like the originals were intended? If so, I can see why you don't have room for other emergency items, you're too busy hauling around fire wood!
