That makes me a little sad...I just saw the one supercharger, where is the other one? Is that thing sticking up on the intake side part of it? I was sitting here thinking that you'd be hard pressed to get that under the hood of an S30 like it sits in that photo...

c-david, is that car on the road? I've never seen it around in Tampa, but it sure looks like one heck of an engine! Twin turbo AND supercharged? They MUST be giving out the good stuff around here...

there is a 97 Tommykaira R Skyline GTR here in tampa. rumor is it might be for sale and i know the previous owner prior not the current owner as a very stand up guy. i say this because he has treated me well not just because he gave me a ride in the above listed master of road taming.

cd

btw: this is the only known tommykaira in the us...

cdavid - umm holy crap if thats yours ... wow ...

hsl30 last thing i remeber you working on was drilling leds to give them a concave diffusor "lens" ive never really seen pictures of your progress (hint hint) - but you have to be one of the most giving members here ...

=quote]

That project and several others are in a holding pattern until my car is ready for the pieces to be installed-I was putting so much time into the projects, the car was being left alone-I missed having it at MSA this year, and probably next year because of them. The car and several of the projects will be at Daytona(ZCCA convention) next year. I simply let the projects get ahead of the horse.

I was drilling the leds to change theri light pattern to make them work better in a lens/reflector system designed for a single point light source-I put the manufacturer on it, and they have made some serious progress!

I don't like advertising what I consider to be a failure, so I haven't posted pictures because to me the led system(and other projects) I am working on is not ready, when it is, I will post pictures, and look for feedback. I want something that looks like it was designed as the most important piece of my car-so it will fit in with the rest of them!

I appreciate the kind words.

I've seen that car, he lived somewhere in New Tampa (I was behind him in traffic). I heard it was totalled...I've also seen a Sunny Pulsar GTi-R dead on the side of Dale Mabry once...I was talking about your silver Z though. I see Mishelly3's pink-ish 280z all the time, and there are several other early Z's around here (besides mine) I know of, but I haven't seen anything like yours around.

yep that is "the car" formerly owned by charles juckett; a stand up guy. he no longer works for zfever and the car is not there now but has been on the property after being hit ( not totaled ). no question about it's posture as a premier skyline and it's unique position as a stand alone us save the fact someone may have brought another over here since. charles is now a success in the car forum, site host biz and has turned his car interest to the subaru.

man ive seen alot of jap street fire videos - one of an s2k blue vs a 4wd wow - most impressive - that skyline was fast too i dont think fast is the word either.

ive seen a silver skyline one time on hills ave - i have no clue if it was the tommi or not but it was cool to see drive past.

on that exvi link see those twin dump exhausts with the bov exhaust tube (on the blue skyline) - totally what i want to do - flip a switch and open exhaust and no back pressure - the noise must be just short of a cataclysmic explosion.

hls30 ive seen your web page but never any of your car in progress or body work or little projects - dont be afraid to post sometime.

The web page is going through a total revamp on my laptop, I have asked several of our members outside of the USA to help me find pics and info for me, but as they are doing this as a favor, I asked in such a way as to not intrude in their daily activities.

Several members have sent me things, and I have almost goten all of those worked in, when that is done, I will ask the same members to have a look at the work and see if I have any mistakes or misconceptions, then I will update my website.

As to posting pictures of the projects, as they are proven, I will post so that they can be followed and or duplicated. Several are very near completion(the RH side mirror-is just waiting for me to make a multiple mold from the single I have-it is truely ready and looks like Nissan made with the LH side-I will the car painted before I set it up-and Victor) gets the second one...), and as soon as they are needed on my car, I will sew them up, make plenty, and and post!
