And is there a real advantage, It already handles like a go-cart with eibach springs and tokiko struts 16" panasports, I just want to lower the front more?? November 14, 200618 yr comment_189515 There is alot of work involved in setting up a set of coilovers, but it is well worth the hassle. I personally recomend Ground Control, but any kit should be just fine. Gotta remember it is nothing more than a threaded sleeve and a collar. Everybody uses the same upper spring perch and you can buy anybodys springs. Do a search on these forums for more detailed info, it has been talked about alot here, and on HybridZ.org Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22305-coilover-susp-kits/#findComment-189515 Share on other sites
November 14, 200618 yr comment_189518 If you're going any lower than the aftermarket springs go, you'll probably want to section the struts to retain some bump travel. November 15, 200618 yr comment_189662 How in the heck do those camber plates mount up to the shock towers. Got any pics of them mounted? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22305-coilover-susp-kits/#findComment-189662 Share on other sites
November 15, 200618 yr comment_189692 They sit underneath the top of the strut tower and are held in place by the two stainless bolts. No need to cut the towers. November 23, 200618 yr comment_190341 Could someone give me a little "coil over 101"?It seems to me that they are a lot like the OEM suspension that has the coil on the outside of the shock/strut mechanism.Just curiousthanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22305-coilover-susp-kits/#findComment-190341 Share on other sites
