Well I have always been curious. How much psi is the stock 280z Turbo pushing and what is the maximum psi on the border line of danger for the stock turbo?

6lbs give or take stock, about 10 will require an intercooler or retarded timing to keep detonation away-but the stok turbo can go to 14 or so. The damage will not be to the turbo, but more probably to the pistons and or rings.

Stock was a little lower then what I thought it was, but the top end was right on the dot to what I thought it was with the addition of the intercooler.

6-7 psi is stock..

can go up to 10psi

anything after 10psi will require an intercooler and bump up the fuel pressure

I ran 18psi on the stock T3 turbo and proper fuel managment
