I've made some modifications to our database server. The new configuration will give more memory to needed processes, open up the system to additional threads, decrease timeout problems, and other such things.

I can already see a big improvement in database queries and the pages on the site seem to load faster. If you guys see any improvements, or bugs, please let me know. Thanks.

I should run a database backup and see how much it slows down the system. That would give me a pretty good idea.
