Posted November 23, 200618 yr comment_190347 Well, as most of you know the frame rail broke on my 240Z. I'm going to be parting out the car because it's going to be cheaper in the long run to buy another 240Z and start over. Can anybody help me out? November 24, 200618 yr comment_190371 How far away do you call "local", Ian. In other words, how far away are you wiling to travel for one?Are you only interested in '72s? No '70, '71 or '73s?What condition are you looking for? Mechanically and body-wise? November 24, 200618 yr Author comment_190376 I'd like a '72 just for sentimental reasons. Something running, not in too bad of shape bodywise. November 25, 200618 yr comment_190389 Mike, I have a 1972 240Z that Ipurchased in 1984 .I completly rebuilt it in 1986. I had the car garaged until 2 years ago when we converted the garage. I would like to sell the car to someone who will care for it properly. the body is perfect, the paint needs to be color sanded or repainted. Mechanicaly the car near perfect. The enginne was replaced with a 280Z block and fited witht high performance parts. There is too much talk about now. If youor anyone you know is interested please contact me and I can go into more detail. 818-415-8189 cell Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22390-any-72s-for-sale-in-washington/#findComment-190389 Share on other sites

November 26, 200618 yr comment_190413 Hey man, if I were you, I'd park the car until I saved up enough money to get it fixed. I mean in the mean time could buy something else until you've saved up enough to fix your 240z. I guess what I'm saying is, if you buy another z car it probably will have problems every now and then that may go wrong to so you will be putting money into that maybe you'd be better off just keeping the car that you have now and saving your money to put into that.-Austen.
