I have been looking for a radio and wheelcovers / hubcaps for a 73 240. Ebay has one set, but the seller has zero feedback and just joined ebay a few weeks ago so I'm a little reluctant. Ebay also has an oem radio for....$249.00...Are there any other sellers/stores that carry these items? I live in Knoxville, TN and the Zbarn has not responded in over a week, however I hear they are in the process of moving.

I searched other posts, and visited most Z stores, but they don't carry the hubcaps or radios, any other suggestions.

Neither hubcaps nor radios are available new any more, finding good used ones takes time. Both hubcaps and radios do turn up on eBay relatively frequently. Just be glad you're looking for the later hubcaps, and not the '70-71 style.

Those that Arne mentioned are expensive.

I have a '72 radio. Not sure if it works because my car never had speakers, and I got rid of the antenna. I'll let you know when I get it out of my car, because I'm gutting it. I should have my car back next week.

Randy, you could try Eddie Radatz (e.radatz motorsports) here in Atlanta, I know he has quite a few hubcaps and possibly may have a radio. He is a good guy and you should have no worries dealing with him. Phone 770.926.6609. Tell him I sent you! (He works on both my Z's)

It looks like Jim Frederick may have you covered.

If not, here are a couple of other ideas. I did an ebay search in an attempt to find the hubcap auction you mentioned. I did not find an auction where the seller had no feedback, but I did find this:

The seller looks legit, and I would expect these hubcaps to go for more than his starting bid. As far as the $249.00 ebay radio, that seems expensive, even from a seller who specializes in refurbishing Z electrical items (unless you are doing a concours restoration). Are you looking for an AM or AM-FM?

There is the radio on Ebay, I believe the buy it now price is $279. Item #300054484238. I checked with the early Datsun parts dealear out of Canada. He said he could get a new AM FM original radio for $1428.00. He seems to be able to get some really rare NOS parts but they are not cheep.
