December 1, 200618 yr comment_191221 I'm looking for the little brackets which hold the brake/clutch/fuel lines to the firewall and frame rails in the engine bay, as well as the rubber pieces between the brackets and the lines themselves...What shape are they in? Anything better than "fragmented beyod recognition" is OK with me!Thanks,Steve Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22475-parting-out-72-240z-what-do-you-need/?&page=2#findComment-191221 Share on other sites
December 1, 200618 yr Author comment_191224 Let me look at the coniditon when my car comes back in. There won't be any clutch lines, the car is an automatic. I'll write you down for those parts and check the condition next week.- Ian. December 1, 200618 yr comment_191232 Are the tail light panel clips in good condition? Here's a pic of what I'm talking about (blown up pic at bottom left side):http://album.hybridz.org/data/657/Z_images_088.jpgIf they are, how much for the section outlined in red in the pic? December 1, 200618 yr comment_191236 [/Original Tool Kit QUOTE]Hey Ian, that's something I might be interested in. My car didn't come with one when we bought so I might interested in hearing what's inside it. -Austen. December 2, 200618 yr comment_191243 Do you have the air box with the backing plate that was used for the SU's? I converted my 73 and would really like the appropriate airbox instead of using the cheap adapters i have now. December 2, 200618 yr Author comment_191244 Sorry. I'd love to sell it to you, but I just remembered the car I'm buying is missing the air-intake. December 2, 200618 yr comment_191252 Ian,I have an original 70' air box that came with MY Z. if you find a buyer, I'll deduct that price from the final sale. Roughly I'm saying sell my air box for me and that price will be off the car. When you finally come over, you can look at a couple other things I have laying around the garage. Like decent shape hub caps, my airbox, and many other unmentionables.Dave.P.S. It's the one with a solid intake whole (no summer/winter flap)http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6899&cat=500&ppuser=4921 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22475-parting-out-72-240z-what-do-you-need/?&page=2#findComment-191252 Share on other sites
