Posted December 3, 200618 yr comment_191371 Alright, with work and doing side jobs, I've had very little time to work on both the 240sx and the 240z. As of now I just want to get rid of the rust areas on my 240z and leave it alone until I finish my 240sx completely. I was planning on sand blasting but I dont want, have the time, and extra money to have it done by a shop or renting/buying a sandblaster and compressor plus other misc. parts. So I was thinking of just getting a sander and a wire wheel for some hard to reach areas and remove most of the rust and paint. But I havent been able to figure out the process (lack of extra time). So what should I do with the car this winter? I dont want to leave the rust on the car cause I know that will just be a horrible time to fix. Should I sand, wire-wheel, then por15 and primer? Note: The car wont be in storage but I plan on having it on jack stands and putting a thick cover and tie it.
