Ebay madness "One of 50 in this special run series"

Guys,

The true rarity of this car can be easy to miss for some of the newbies here, but a quick glance in the engine compartment shows the early 6-4-2 proto type gas miser model, later copied by Cadillac in the early 80s. Of course these first 50 models, were a manual system, requiring that driver be quite the contortionist to operate the wire removal at speed. Shown in the above auction pictures, car is in High MPG mode, with just 2 "firewires" attached.

I have heard that the sister to this car is proudly displayed next to the infamous diesel 240-z in a show room in Japan.

It will be a struggle to resist bidding on this piece of history.:D

I flushed a far more important piece of "history" in my morning constitutional! Fortunately, no one will be copying it...though undoubtedly, many will try!

BTW, I still have these available-

Maybe I should offer them to the owners of the car in quwstion and the floor mats? Or maybe just threaten ebay with listing them....

*Sigh* yeah "Original Webbers" on a Japanese car...*sigh*

I have some swampland and a few bridges I would like to sell to this guy.

I might be interested in a couple of those bridges.

Allan,

Thanks, I never would have guessed that Nissan fitted Webbers.

I can get you a real deal on a bridge-I know you have lots of things I "might" be interested in...an even trade perhapse....

I would hold my breath if I thought there was even the length of hope that could span the distance between 26thZs twins...
