Arne, Jack, can you please go into your web-browser settings and assure that our URL is added to your "trusted sites" list. I want to make sure we aren't running into some kind of firewall, permission, or virus blocker issue. On that note, switch off any software firewall and virus scanner and attempt another upload.

In the meantime, I am going to try and find the problem with the broken pipe issue. It does look like others have been able to upload into the gallery, so, I'm not sure where this issue is coming from.

Mike, I can upload to the gallery fine - as long as the total size of the images I attempt to upload is less than 512kb. But even single uploads of over 512kb won't go. I get the same error using either Safari or Firefox on the Mac, or with Firefox on my desk PC. Attached is the screenshot of the error when attempting to upload a 1024x768 picture to the gallery, the file size on my computer is 620kb.

EDIT: Mike, I'm pretty sure that I have tried this at home as well, but the more I look at it, that broken pipe error looks like it is coming from my end, not yours. So don't dig on that too hard just yet, I'll need to check my Squid box.

Crap. It looks like there is a memory error of some kind. That error message Arne is seeing doesn't look good. Yet ANOTHER reason to change servers. I've done some research on this and it appears that broken pipe/write error may suggest degradation of hardware. Perhaps the memory is slowly going bad.

Although, I am still not sure why Arne is the only person who can get my server to do this! Arne, if you could test again on a different PC it would be appreciated.
