Hi all,

I'm posting an official request for a new site logo and mascot. If you have graphic talent and would like to help out the site, we could use your abilities! The artist whos logo we choose will receive $50, a club Tshirt, and microfiche CD.

The new logo will be placed in the upper left of all web pages and also part of our main theme. I am currently working on a new look for the site and would like to make the new logo part of it.

The old logo (oval Z) will not go away and we would like to fit it into the new logo/mascot. Anything will do, but, the design shouldn't be too complex. It needs to be fun.... We will also use it on our new club Tshirt.

Mike, Not to be a troglodyte about it, but do we really need a change? I like the red car(and I'll bet Arne does, too). I really like the layout as it is...IMHO. Also, I think you do a hell of a job with this site...the friendliest and the most helpfull to new guys...with the least amount of flaming. So, you see, I am a happy camper. Hi Mike, thanks for the reply. I like the existing theme as well, but, it's just too easy to copy. There are other forums using the same stuff I've put together here and we all start to look the same after awhile. I want to put something together that makes us stand out from everybody else. While I also believe that I shouldn't fix something that isn't broken, I also like to remember that change is inevitable. If we became too stagnant, this place would be a bore.

It seems to me that we should have the talent base to do just about anything if we wanted.

ClassicZcar.com satelite?, Moonbase? Deep sea habitat? If we built the space shuttle like a Datsun would it be tough, small, fast and cheap to fly?
