December 26, 200618 yr comment_193842 I talked with my buddy in the Springs and a close friend of ours just bought a home down the street from him, A Ranch style 3bd 2b 1 car for 143.000 I have not seen it but that seems a little high for the area. As for Z cars their out here and with you being a welder you should have no problem fixing the rust... and mine Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22743-moving-on-up-literally/#findComment-193842 Share on other sites

I paid 179K for my 3+1-1/2 in 95 and now can't replace it for less than .5M Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/22743-moving-on-up-literally/#findComment-193879 Share on other sites

December 28, 200618 yr comment_194032 The median price for a 3.1 around here is just over 600K and that's down a bit from a few months ago. No wonder a bachelor like myself is still a renter. I'd leave if by heart could bear it but my son and I are very close. December 28, 200618 yr comment_194045 Thats got to hurt stating 143k is too high for a house in Colorado, when the same type of house in California is mid 400s or more! Not sure about the house pricing up in the Garlic Capital of the World, but I visited my sister out in Buena Park few months back and just could not believe how high the prices have become out there, its amazing people could afford to eat after paying mortgage! I moved to Denver about 10 years ago from Los Angeles and I enjoy it. It hurts to see LA is a whopping 77 degrees in winter while we are dealing with this snow madness but you take the good with the bad. The Springs is a beautiful place to live, just try to limit your Cripple Creek trips down to every few months! I wish you the best of luck with your move.
