Honk if you drive a Z, or Where's the love?

Do you honk or wave to other Z car drivers? I do, but sadly my experience is that most do not wave back. You'd think there'd be some love between fellow Z drivers. I'm just not seeing it.

C'mon people! Give a honk or a wave when you see a Z on the road! Spread the <3!

Now as far as that gose yes I do. Or should say did when I had my 70 240. I can say that when I get my 73 on the road I will do the same. fast honk with A wave out the window.

This is A brotherhood we are in and I have found the same with the corvettes.

But I will say this ( dont hate me ) I dont do the same when its A zx. unless its early (round headlights) and very clean. Most ZX drivers round here are in them because it was and is A cheap driver not because of A love for the Z.

I always give a thumbs up or a wave. You don't see many early Z's out there so it's just good form to do so.

As far as in the old days.... 10-15 years ago all zs would flash there headlight as they approached each other... this is the cool way. But I really don't see this anymore. I think we should start this up again... and as an added bonus any woman in the zcars could also flash .... now this could be the start of a great new trend man...

Nope, cos the reason is I don't see a lot of them in Mtl, but I do pass notice in fact..But I do wave at guys with old cars and muscle cars, and they do usually the same!

Even when riding with my GF, there is a lot of lady that do take a look at me...hum, I mean the ZED of course..

I used to give and receive a wave without fail the first year I had my 300 2000, one time on the motorway even with a big concrete separator that you could only see the roofs of cars another z driver waved.

Then throughout the last couple of years the waves got less and less untill it is now uncommon to wave.

I agree there should be more pleasantries between z owners.

Last week while driving my 72 240Z on I-95 in Florida a guy in a 65 convertible mustang gave me the thumbs up !!!!!!!!!!! I was shocked , a thumbs up from a guy driving an American car acknowleged my ZZZZ !!! It definitely sent chills up my spine and a grinn from ear to ear !!!!!!! Love the ride and definitely enjoy the ride !!!!!!!!

honks are great! but you have to flash your lights to oncoming zcars. Its the way it is supposed to be and has always been since the 70's.....:classic:
