have had it for over 2 years now and still haven't driven it.

started to 'refresh' it and i'm still at it. slow and fairly steady, working it in between life's other distractions.

Just some odds and ends I found I needed to pick up along the way, outside of the normal tool box setup.

Suspension and brakes= a huge crescent wrench and pipe wrench. If did again Id probably also get a press, think Harbor Freight also has a smaller unit on sale once in a while fairly cheap. Hack saw. Propane torch. 10mm (flare?)wrench for the brake line nuts.

Various hard to reach spots= 90 degree phillips head, also a larger phillips head for some. A rechargable fluorescent light was also nice, due to some areas underneath I couldnt see well.

Electrical= tester light and a meter, a nice assortment of connectors.

Odds and ends= a larger compressor and a sandblast cabinet is great, a simple carb cleaner fluid bucket parts stores sell, would of loved to have one of those smaller tumblers for cleaning up bolts and nuts along the way, rotary tool with cut off blades and various attachments for cleaning. Nice tap and die set with a few ez-outs just incase, some quality drill bits can save alot of headaches also. A HUGE hammer, like a brass one or something soft but strong <--prolly dont recommend, I just get frustrated and beat on stuff when things dont go my way .

Just rambling off some stuff I found myself heading up to the store to get in between projects.

For tool's for Body work and such check out Eastwood they have a lot "got to have stuff"

A torque wrench is a need to have tool a Vaccume gauge, I like a Mity Vac. A inferred (sp) thermo. helps with Dianostics (sp)

Oh heck with it just get a Snap on, Matco, Cornwell or Mac truck to stop and get a wish book from one or more of them and you'll be in good shape...Broke but you'll be Tim the Tool Man in no time...

Get a good floor jack. I bought a professional series jack from Napa. It has a nice large round rubber pad at the lift point, rather than the metal kind. Doesn't scratch the paint on a refinished suspension...

A few other items: an engine hoist with a leveler attachment, a good engine stand, magnetic parts trays... If you plan to beat on panels get a good set of hammers and dollies. The first set I bought was a "Harbor Freight" type. They worked ok, but when I got a set of Martin hammers and dollies, the difference in feel and results was night & day. Check www.eastwood.com, or a local auto body supply store. If you have a big garage or shop put in a lift.
