Arne Posted January 1, 2007 Share #13 Posted January 1, 2007 What's the difference between the two grades of glass? In my experience, the premium glass will be better. Less distortion, better finish. Typically, the premium will be a 'name' brand, while the standard grade may be some company that no one has ever heard of.
Mike Posted January 1, 2007 Share #14 Posted January 1, 2007 Yea, according to the dealer, I picked up the last windshield in the Nissan inventory. You'll have to to aftermarket. I understand the PPG glass is pretty awesome.
xray Posted January 2, 2007 Share #15 Posted January 2, 2007 Now that OEM windshields are NLA, if all other factors are equal, how much of a hit does a car's value take for having aftermarket replacement glass instead?
=Enigma= Posted January 2, 2007 Share #16 Posted January 2, 2007 I know it may not be the best price, but www.blackdragonauto.com, formerly www.victoriabritish.com has the tinted version available at the link below. It's has a full tint with dark shading at the top. You may want ot call them and see who the MFG is.http://www.blackdragonauto.com/icatalog/z/t10.html
