Mckrack Posted January 4, 2007 Author Share #15 Posted January 4, 2007 No David I am Baruch Shlomo Ben Haim. That's Baruch son of Harold in English. But I appreciate your knowlege about Jewish names. Again I don't know who you are referring to but it's not me. I Think I am one of the only possible Conservadox Jews who has gotten in to Z cars. That's someone who isn't Orthodoz but almost. So we are alolwed to go to movies and have hobbies etc. I bought this car about 4 months ago from a guy in Detroit. Kind of a personal thing I'd rather not get in to . Can I count on your help if I need it. I don't know who Mike is either. BTW Do you know anything more about the Daytona thing. I tried looking it up on the computer. I hope it falls during ther week because I would love to get there for that unless it's on the Shabas. That's another Jewish word for you. It means Sabbath. Rent the movie The Big Lebowski and you'll find out what it is. Starts on Friday when the sun goes down to Saturday when the sun goes down. Anyway this is a great site I hope some of you folks can help if I need it. Bye for now.

hls30.com Posted January 6, 2007 Share #18 Posted January 6, 2007 Considering you have had it only four months, you must have had some tuteledge from experts of your own, we have members here who haven't learned the particulars of such a rare part as the first 240Z shift boot in years...Will
Mckrack Posted January 7, 2007 Author Share #19 Posted January 7, 2007 I have investigated everything there is to know about these cars. I have a friend in California who sent me close up pictures of the interior and the engine compartment of his car and I noticed that the shif boot was the same as the one in my car but that round ring was gone. Do I asked him what was the deal with that and a number of other inerior issues and he tld me he thought it was made of rubber or plastic. I called MSA and they told me what it is and then told me that boot was discontinued. So I would like to get that somewhere. I don;'t want to put the lace up boot in the car unless I have to. Mckrack Posted January 7, 2007 Author Share #20 Posted January 7, 2007 I have always believed if you get involved with something then you should become a student of it especially with all the money it costs to fix up a car like this. Don't you think Will.I think I have spent more time reading and investigating and going on web sites then actually getting the job done.
