March 22, 200817 yr comment_241457 Yeah, those things were on there pretty tight. On some good advice, I bought a remanufactured cylinder from autozone and put it in yesterday. The brakes are working fine now. Now to change the brake pads. March 22, 200817 yr comment_241460 They were on there a whole lot tighter than that. Do you agree with that, DeMoore?Yeah, I gave the wrong torque. That was for the stopper screw. The torque for the valve caps is 58-65 ft-lbs. Removing the stopper screw would have allowed you to remove the second piston. I had to jog my memory a little as it's been a while since I've rebuilt one. Less stressful to just replace it.
