Hello Everybody!

I'm a new member to this forum. I stumbled upon it while looking for information about Rust Bullet and Picklex, and it looks like I've found a gold mine of information on old Z cars.

I am working on getting a 1973 Datsun 240Z back to running order. When I bought the car, the frame rails and floor pans were rusted out. I ordered some Zeddfindings floor pans and Baddog frame rails.

The most recent development is that I removed the engine and transmission from the car, and am now ready to send the car in to get the pans and rails welded in. I am looking for a good shop that can do the welding work in the San Jose, CA area, so any recommendations would be great.

Welcome! There are a lot of stories here abput all things involved with Zs-unfortunately rust stories are more than plentiful-but in a search for them that could be a good thing! Wow, I just refered to rust as a good thing...whoda thunk it!
