Off to Colorado next week

Im hoping the weather is a little better in the Denver area in the week coming.Taking a big step in buying a house in the Springs area. Any members out in the area let me know. Mabe we can hook up and talk some stories.

I'm 25 miles East of Colorado Springs, 5 miles South of Ellicott off HWY 94. And don't get me started on the weather. Seven weekends of snow storms, cold and wind. COME ON SPRING!!!!!!!!!! I just got the 220 electric heater for the garage and need to install it. Too damn cold to work out there lately. Let me know if you want to talk Z's.

I'm in Berthoud, about an hour north of Denver. There are a few of us up here who would enjoy getting together fellow Z owners for a cruise in the mountains once things warm up. The Z Car Club of Colorado is based in Denver, I think they have a few members with 240/260/280 Z cars.

actually I'll be moving to Colorado Springs myself in July with my roommate

we'll both be bringing our Zs up, so its great to know theres a scene up there!

Yeah, we have had an unusually snowy & cold winter so far along the Front Range area (Pueblo on the south to Fort Collins on the north, with Colorado Springs and Denver in between). I am a Denver native and normally the winters are pretty mild here for the most part (excluding the mountains to the west of us). Hope you enjoy your stay here next week Brushie and Tubo240, I think you and your roommate will enjoy living in Colorado.

Hey.. I live west of Denver by 30 miles... Near Nederland.... The kids (16 to 18) are building snow jumps of the side of the driveway at the moment...

we have drifts 5 to 7 feet tall. The wind has benn a bit nuts in the last few days. Hope to have the 240Z back from the body shop in April.

z club meeting this wednesday feb 7th at brooklyns near the stadium in Denver. begins about 7pm. People usually start filing in about 6:30-6:45.

Yes I will be there on valintines day.My wife hates me for coming on that day. But will be looking for work and a house that week. Hopefully the weather is a little better by then.

Hope my bitching about winter didn't put you off. I love living in Colorado and wouldn't move for anything. However, I think this is the worst winter I've seen in the last 16 years of living here. Most of the time the weather is good and the winters are bearable. I think you'll like living here. Attached is a pic of some of the great sunsets I see all the time.

No our mind is pretty much made up..were going.The only problen is the shop foreman where i work offered me 100,000 for a down payment on a house here in California, The deal is after 3 years i have to refinance the house and pay him back. Now the cheapest house where i live is around 400,000.Colorado springs for the same house is 160,000. So Im most likely moving to colorado unless my payments here can be around 1500 a month. But we will see.
