February 5, 200718 yr Author comment_198176 I want to post some picts., cant figure our how. The car has had the front finders replaced 25 years ago and was repainted then as well. Replaced the seat covers 4 years ago, they just ripped at the seams. Everything else is stock. February 5, 200718 yr comment_198180 You can upload pictures to your gallery but they have to be approved before anyone else can see them. You can also upload a picture as an attachment to any post. In both cases there are size limitations but I'm not clear on what those limits are. I always end up scaling pictures down to 1024x768. February 5, 200718 yr comment_198194 Michael,Great looking 280Z! I can't believe you still have a set of Goodyear Eagle Gt's on your Z. That is too coool. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23178-saying-hi/#findComment-198194 Share on other sites
February 5, 200718 yr Author comment_198204 The tires are at least 15 years old, they are showing some cracking in the side wall. I want to get new wheels, want to go to 16 in. then I will get new tires.Michael Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23178-saying-hi/#findComment-198204 Share on other sites

February 5, 200718 yr comment_198219 Michael,I would save those wheels and tires for display purposes if you have the room. If not I am sure that someone in the Z car community would purchase them for a period correct display. One of our members in the No. Va. Z Car Club still has a set of Goodyear Eagle GT's on some original 280ZX wheels. It's a shame that Goodyear hasn't made any arrangements with a compnay such as Coker to reproduce those tires as well as the old Eagle ST's. February 5, 200718 yr comment_198223 Lovely car in the photos, and I'm sure the photos don't do it justice!Regarding the tires, I just wish Goodyear would continue to produce the Eagle GT tires, I'd been using the GT II's for several years, and was really pissed when I found out they were NLA.
