DougN Posted April 1, 2007 Share #14 Posted April 1, 2007 I have a Thule trunk mounted rack, that is similar to the design z-bane shows, and it works terrific on all my cars. It has the individual "holders" to carry up to two bikes (they make one similar for 3 or 4). I used it to carry two bikes just yesterday. I bought it and an REI store several years ago, but I believe this is the model:http://www.thuleracks.com/thule/product.asp?dept_id=8&sku=968The two parts that brace on the car are adjustable, so they can fit everything from a van to a normal car trunk. This also allows you to adjust the carrying angle of the bikes as necessary. The 4 straps fit great on the top lip of the hatch and the bottom of the bumper on my Z's. The metal hooks on the ends of the upper straps have a rubber coating so you don't scratch the paint. If it stops raining here, I may go put it on to get a photo to illustrate the setup! :classic:

DougN Posted April 2, 2007 Share #17 Posted April 2, 2007 I'd be curious to see a bike mounted to that OEM luggage rack, as it does not appear to have any attachments to do so?
