fish99 Posted February 6, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 6, 2007 Hey everyone, I just got my 1977 280z on saturday, and I'm working on what I want to do. First the bumper has got to go, so I was wondering how to fill in the gap from the grill to the air dam. and I'd like to put a different rear bumper on it. I'd like to put my cd player in it but can't find any kits to do it, so does anyone got any ideas on anything that looks great

I also just got a 280Z ('75) and am getting my game plan together. If you search in the body/paint forum, you should find info on bumpers. There was a recent thread called "big, nasty bumpers", for example. I'm not sure about CD, but a search will probably yield results there, too.Enjoy the car! 240ZX Posted February 6, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 6, 2007 Installing a stereo in the Zs is pretty much a case of using the original radio location and then the speakers!! Well, this is the part that requires some creativity and fabrication skills. There is a speaker box available...MSA may have them. Good luck, welcome aboard, and keep us posted!Tom
