the diagram drawn by BRE-240Z looks to me exactly the same as the parts I got from VB (well.. black dragon) the profile is the same but the question is weather they have the same quality from VB and Nissan's dealer..

and for sure, it can be a matter of price $$!

word of advice , be sure you use orginal Nissan parts and not the ones from Black Dragon. I recently restored my 77 and used the seals from Black Dragon. They are much thicker than the originals and now the rear hatch does not close flush with the side panels.

Ended up using the gasket set by Precision, which is okay. Little bigger than the Nissan set, but about $1000 less expensive. At least that's the best deals I could find after looking for quite a while. I do have a Nissan hatch set, but it's the same size as the Precision. The hatch still sits up a little, but a lot of the body panels that were removed for painting were not aligned correctly by the body shop when they reassembled the car. Nissan dealer body shop here has an old guy who seems to know how to do the re-aligning, so I'm going to give that a crack. Neither door locks will work, although the doors look to be hung correctly.

One lives and learns I guess ...
