A question for the EFI guys

This may sound stupid, but make sure if you changed any fuel lines...

That's not a stupid suggestion at all-I've almost had the same thing happen to me-the guy at NAPA was more concerned about the conversation he was having on his phone than in the customer (me), and tried selling me carb only fuel line.:finger: It happens.

"it was actually sucking the soft lines shut cutting off the fuel, and making bad fumes, like it was flooded"

Thats odd ? Normally what happens is the standard fuel hose isn't able to handle the higher pressure used in a fuel injection system and they swell up then eventually burst. Not cool :)

Well i have found a NOS pump, but it's located in other town, i will check the hoses too, the car is mi daily driver but i only drive it for 40 minutes everyday and this time it's not enough for the car to fail, so i can deal with the problem until i have time and get the pump, once i change the pump and have checked the hoses and the rail, i'll let you know. Thank you to all of you for your answers, here in Colombia there is a gratefull guy...
