door panels

I just heated the material between the two cuts and seams pulled right to gether. i glued it with rhino Glue http://www.rhinoglue.com/ when that was dry i did cut a form out of plywood to heat and bend the outer 2" just by heating it and then laying the form down on it with some weight for about 10 min. The form is just some plywood +/- 2'' to follow the outer edge. Can take a photo of the form if you like?

I'm trying to figure out why the cut lines in the pattern? Is that to allow the plastic to form better to the door. I was going to fiberglass over my masonate to preserve it before I covered it but this might be a better solution. Great Job and thanks for sharing.

Speaking of Door Panels...

Peter Robinson is making fiberglass door panels, with custom speaker enclosures. Don't know if he's molding stock panels or not - but might be worth dropping him an e-mail or call.
