February 21, 200718 yr comment_200007 The last pair he sold in December went for $640.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290062541815 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23365-nos-door-panels-listed-on-ebay/#findComment-200007 Share on other sites
February 22, 200718 yr Author comment_200129 Arne,I'll bet this set will beat the $640.00 record. They are up to $585.00 now with almost 4 days to go. Some of the NOS 240Z parts like the door panels, dashboards, "D" wheel covers, '70-'71 center consoles, etc seem to go for more and more everytime you turn around! February 22, 200718 yr comment_200163 Not to mention the AM radios Steve. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23365-nos-door-panels-listed-on-ebay/#findComment-200163 Share on other sites
February 22, 200718 yr comment_200164 The parts mentioned here (AM radios, D hubcaps, pristine door panels, etc.) along with the other obvious parts like un-cracked dashes, good tail lights and the like are a large part of why I decided it was cheaper to buy an entire low-miles car than to restore my yellow car. February 22, 200718 yr comment_200203 I don't get it...Les at CDM will recover your panels for $300, and his materials are spot-on....A recent visit to MSA shows that they are doing the same thing (but pricing wasn't available.)$750?? What am I missing?Steve Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23365-nos-door-panels-listed-on-ebay/#findComment-200203 Share on other sites
February 22, 200718 yr comment_200204 I'm not sure about Les' re-covering job, but others I've seen (both MSA and Too Intense) lack the chrome trim strip that the originals have. That seems to be the telling point between NOS and re-covered panels.
