Hah! I'm going to post the first pictures from the Roadster show!

Since it decided to not rain today, I drove my 240Z up from Springfield (~110 miles) this morning, arriving at about noon. I left the show a bit earlier than I'd have liked, but wanted to make the trip home before dark - I don't have headlight relays yet, and don't want to drive after dark and risk the fusebox if I don't have to. Hung out with a7dz, beandip and nwcubsman for a while before driving back home.

Here are a few shots of some of the Datsuns, including Mike's.

P.S. - The little white 1200 is an electric drag car, 30 12-volt batteries, does 0-60 in 3.5 sec., and has done the 1/4 in 12.151 @ 106!!

Well so much for me making it at 5:00.

I headed in after playing Z cars with John and Rodger and checking Proxes tire sizes at Les Schwab's and it was 5:24.

Yes, Mike's car does have triple SUs on it. Couldn't get close enough for a good pic, but if you look at this one closely...

did you have to fabricate that air cleaner cover?

Yea, the aircleaner is completely original (err... I mean 'original design' or custom fabricated). Steve at Z-therapy put together that entire setup.

The filter was also cut and lengthened to fit properly.

Steve owns ZTherapy. This setup runs so well vs some of the others (triples especially) and inquiries have been such, that we are running some numbers to see where they will come out price wise if we gear up to produce a short run of triple sets (carbs, linkage, manifolds, balance tube, & heat shield) "No aircleaner".

If any of you have a triple itch that needs to be scratched, give me a holler, cause I'm guessing this won't be a volume deal.....

Your missing first generation 280Z's though???? All I see in the photos are 240's and 280ZX's ????

One of the two blue ones is a 260Z. No, there were no 280Zs on display.
