Well, as I am planning on flying out to California and living my life out there, I need to make my little baby road ready and safe until I get my current ride out there later, or just something newer.

I got a list of things that I am going to do before it is all ready. Some additional input would be nice. Cars 36 years old, and there might be stuff that works but might need to be replaced, and if there are some recommended parts that I should get instead.

Halogen Headlights

Fuel Pump gasket

K&N Air Filter

Steering boots

Brakes (front and rear)

*are there any over sized or cross-drilled dsic brakes that might be a better buy then whatever autozone has? Would like the car to stop on a dime*

License plate lamp

rubber strips for bumper

tires 195/70

Ignitor

Rubber radio antenna

Flame Thrower Coil

Illumina Struts all round

ST Sporttech springs all round

Front 240z Fender Emblems

Wipers

NGK Wires

Then I have recently found out about a MSD GAL and a MSD tach adapter. I was told that they might be good to get, but not really sure what they are.

Also, my tach has a problem right now. It goes up to like 3,000rpm and wont go up any higher, even though the motor still is revving higher, but once it goes up, it wont come back down without tapping on the protective cover. Would the MSD tach adapter maybe fix this, or could it most likely be a hose issue?

And so far, I have done some rough pricing, but does $1800 sound about right for all that? Some of the stuff I might end up pulling off ebay to save a bit on money.
