March 7, 200718 yr comment_201449 I live in Oakland, and I got recommened to Rob Fuller's shop in San Jose by a co worker. My 72 240Z is still with him, but he's almost done with it. He has a very clean professional shop and is throughly knowledgeable. Many people recommended him as well. March 7, 200718 yr comment_201459 I had my engine done at Rebellos in Antioch. So far im pleased. Lots of horsepower from the 3.1 stroker. Just got to get rid of the exhaust fumes. I know a guy who just shut down his shop and he can probably help you out. The guy a z car garage used to work for him...But he is a loaf...PM me your number.. March 8, 200718 yr comment_201519 I had thought that the L24 could only go up to a 2.7L stroker? Thought that you need to have the L28 to reach the 3L+ mark. March 8, 200718 yr comment_201538 You could always build it out into a stroker, but I don't think you can get all the way to 3.1L with an L24 block, at least not safely. If I recall correctly you can get to about 2.7L safely, but you'll need to start with an L28 if you want to go to 3.1L.
