I am with Zedyone in that I took the stripes off of my car.

Yes, same paint. The paint looks different in just about every picture.

Though mall002's cars are incredibly clean. The paint on the green car is gorgeous along with the butterscotch interior.

Some did, but only from the Dealer-not a Nissan part.

I can't make up my mind either. White on red shows up best, but it would seem odd to me to have black interior and white stripes. Black stripes to match the interior color don't show as well on the red. Same was true for the spook - when it was black it didn't accent as well as I thought it might. That's why it's red now.

And my indecision is why my car has no stripes (so far).

Thanks for your two picts I was looking up info on wheels and a guy had the catolog pages from Shellby which had the stipes from the green car and the silver looks like the factory one, just shows that there are many vintage styles out their.

Good eye's....you are correct.

The stripes on my green Z are from MSA, before I put the factory stripes on I wanted to make sure I liked the look so I used the $19 MSA as a trial.

I did locate the factory stripes thanks to a fellow member and they have been on the Z for about 8 months, you can see the difference and I do prefer the factory stripes better. (Sorry for the bad photo's but had to take the pictures while in the garage)

When ever I get my '72 done I'm leaning towards the white stripes on my orange Z, it has a white interior it should look good and add alittle more to the car. Then again I might just leave it plain and keep a super stock look to it. when I get there, i'll just flip a coin...

For me I like the stripes, When I save enough coin to do the body and paint on my 73 I will have the stripes as well.

This is a picture on Grandpa as he is today. Low miles now at 71k everything but the clock works, AC, Radio and such, He still needs a lot of work but over all I'm very happy.
