Rusted out floor pans

Found a few old happy snaps of the floor pan repairs I did.

Scanned on my printer and posted here:)

New technology is great aint it!

You can see the 2 patch panels I put into the LH and RH floor areas, plus the under floor rail extending from front to rear.

The rustout was caused by the factory rails being closed off at the rear.

The junk got in but couldn't get out:ermm:

The new ones are open ended, making it easier to flush them clean.

I used Zedd Findings on my floors. I found them to be first rate. I recommend contacting Charlie Osborne, owner who is a real nice guy, and see what he has and what he says. I wish you all the best. Let us know what and how we can help . Gary

I am in the middle of it right now, car is at the frame shop getting finished. I used floor pans from www.datsunrestore.com. They are great quality and fit. I also needed a section of rail from the firewall to the compression mount that I got from baddogparts. I will try to send some pics soon. Here is one from the rail section showing the damage I had, after getting into this I decided to just cut it all out and replace the pans and rails.
