April 7, 200915 yr comment_280017 I just converted my 1970 240. Toyota 4x4, 4piston calipers on the front bolt right up and the brake lines needs no mods. Rear 1986 maxima calipers with ebrake. I bought the motor sport auto set up. Was on mid ohio race track full speed (as fast as a 240 could go) great set up! got photos if you want. April 7, 200915 yr comment_280022 Do any of these conversions discussed here make it necessary to trade up to a 15 or 16 inch rim? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23567-240z-rear-disc-conversion/?&page=2#findComment-280022 Share on other sites
April 7, 200915 yr comment_280042 Yes, the Modern Motorsports rear disc conversion will not work with 14 inch rims and you need at least 15's. I believe that is the case with many of the others too. It is worth it though IMHO. I did the MM setup on the rear on my '72 and am still running stock on the front and it is light years better than stock. Here's a shot with 15" Konig rewinds.
