Posted March 17, 200718 yr comment_202602 For those that don't remember 76Datsun280z's post a while back ago about "Interesting excuse for selling, 280z on Ebay" which we got a laugh out of then here is the link http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24572&highlight=280Z+ebay Well I was surfing around ebay tonight just for fun and laughed when I came across it again. Now some dealer named "Kicks Auto Sales" is trying to sell it. I guess ebay seller crashpoet10139 must have thrown in the towel At least the dealer washed it I can't decide which ad is more funny? The old seller or new seller. The dealer selling it now says " Look at the solid, original green trunk" This is great. I needed a laugh tonight. New ebay ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1975-Nissan-Datsun-280ZX-Mint-Low-Miles-No-Reserve_W0QQitemZ200088435614QQcategoryZ6187QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23621-well-guys-scarlett-has-returned-to-ebay-lol/ Share on other sites
March 17, 200718 yr comment_202607 There is some great stuff in this ad. Quote This vehicle is a RARE, EXTREMELY CLEAN 1975 Nissan Datsun 280 ZX with LOW MILES and NO RESERVE! Yeah, I'd say it's rare-a 1975 280 ZX Quote Looks like a new rebuilt engine and transmission with all new components. I hope that it has new components-it would be a little silly to have a new rebuilt engine comprised with old used parts...of course a newly rebuilt engine, or a refurbished engine would be a different matter. Quote Non Smoker! Good, I didn't think they made nicorette for cars. Quote This vehicle has a powerful, reliable and efficient 6cyl. OHC engine. Wait, didn't they just say it looks like a new rebuilt engine? How do they know it has a powerful, reliable, and efficient engine-they don't even know if it is a rebuild, for crying out loud! And then there is the transmission, a Quote 4 Speed Manuel Transmission! Quote It has a high quality paint and finish with no dings or scratches but plenty of overspray I'm not mocking the car, just the ad. March 17, 200718 yr comment_202610 First time listed with a reserve and buy it now of $5500 - didnt sell.Relisted again with no reserve - winning bidder was for $2,700.00 by thatonetallgirl, who is seems didn't really want the car - if you read the feedback, she didn't go through with the purchase. Maybe it was offered to the second bidder as a second chance offer, but since ebay changed to the anonymous bidder system (which sucks) you cant tell for sure if the current seller bought it, washed it, and is reselling it. March 17, 200718 yr comment_202625 Damn I had to look hard for any sign of A/C in that thing... And I see that changed out the shifter from the wood which she liked so much to a leather looking thing Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/23621-well-guys-scarlett-has-returned-to-ebay-lol/#findComment-202625 Share on other sites
